This position will also assist with monthly and ad hoc financial analysis. This position partners with Investor Relations Financial Planning & Analysis Global Business Services and multiple business partners throughout the firm responsible for various financial products and operations of this role you will be provided with an opportunity to work in a global environment. If you are seeking to become a part of an organization that invests in employee growth and development this role is for you.You will be responsible for: Preparing financial data reported in the quarterly results press release quarterly 10-Q report and the annual 10-K report. Preparing footnotes and disclosures collation of supporting records and tie down of all published financial information Preparingconsolidated cash flow statement and statement of shareholders equity Maintaining XBRL compliance for filings with the SEC Preparing annual impairment reviews of goodwill and other intangibles Coordinatingwith investor relations and supporting preparation of quarterly earnings presentation Coordinating with Global Business Services team in execution and work production Performing variance analyses of company financial statements. Performing review of quarterly debt compliance reporting Preparing reporting of business acquisitions dispositions and other corporate transactions Monitoring completion of monthly financial close checklists to ensure compliance with SOX controls. Maintaining SOX documentation for the group financial reporting team. Facilitatingrelated audits/reviews by external auditors. Performing ad hoc projects and analysis to support senior management decision makingThe experience you bring:5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience is required. Public accounting or public company reporting experience is preferred.Must have solid understanding of accounting and financial principles and be able to apply these principles to corporate accounting.Must have knowledge of SOX requirementsWorkiva/HFM/Oracle/Blackline experience is preferredAbility to self-motivate and establish personal deadlinesAbility to process technical accounting concepts and determine their applicability to Invesco and its business unitsStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage a variety of audiences internally and externally.Ability to build strong relationships with team and other key constituents.Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex problems; deal with and manage change in a fluid environment; prioritize multiple competing projects and initiatives and focus resources in line with such priorities.Displays a high degree of interpersonal skills tact and diplomacy with all constituencies; strong collaboration skills with peers.Ability to thrive in an environment of change and be open to new challenges and opportunitiesEffective interpersonal skills necessary to effectively collaborate with othersStrong grasp of technology and systems.
