Job ID:113328The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.Job SummaryThis position is open to be filled in one of the following Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics locations:Sensors Center of Excellence - Largo, Florida (preferred)Computing and Networks Center of Excellence - Johnstown, PAReview requests for proposals to identify and assist the proposal team in developing cost estimates. Work closely across functional organizations to develop cost models, labor BOEs, independently support the cost/price volume, and ensure compliance in accordance with relevant regulations and company standards.Job ResponsibilitiesReview requests for proposals to identify and assist the proposal team in developing compliant cost estimatesDevelop and maintain comprehensive cost estimates using standardized templates, cost models, and estimating methodologiesPrepare detailed cost breakdowns and establish estimating assumptions, rationale, and the overall Basis of Estimate (BOE) to support FAR Table 15-2 compliant proposalsBuild and maintain estimating databases, historical cost libraries and cost-learning curvesProvide support for all cost and price reviews, prepare relevant documentation for contract negotiations, and ensure full compliance during internal and external auditsEnsure cost estimates comply with RFP specifications, company policies, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements, including CAS, FAR, and DFARQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Supply Chain, or related field, with 8+ years directly related experience, preferably in a government contracting environment (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
