You will work with the US Sales team to develop pricing strategies that ensure goal achievement assuring customer satisfaction meeting legal guidelines and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. This position will work with Global Pricing Sales Management Legal OEC and Finance to apply business knowledge principles and financial concepts to implement recommended strategies.Abbott Molecular Diagnostics is a leader in molecular diagnostics to deliver best-in-class innovative testing solutions for people around the world for answers to lifes critical health decisions. We help people live full and healthy lives through our accessible molecular-based solutions.We are a division of Abbott Laboratories a global diversified healthcare innovator with a legacy of pioneering work in medical diagnostics.What Youll Work OnWork with multiple levels of the sales organization to develop pricing proposals/contract documents while ensuring compliance with legal guidelines OEC policies and business rulesOwn customer pricing proposal creation from start to finish utilizing internal and customer templates including financial and pricing modelingProvide pricing analysis P&L impact contract development and execution for large customers Prepare analyze present active contract performance in relation to contractual obligationsApply critical thinking skills and problem solve to arrive at a viable solution when challenged with complex situations and customer requests Carries out all duties in compliance with established business policiesMaintain a sense of urgency and ability to work under customer driven deadlines.This includes the ability to multitask and manage competing prioritiesOther projects as assigned based on key initiatives and MDx divisional prioritiesComplex Pricing Proposals Pricing Strategy and Deal configuration supportNegotiate contractual terms with internal and external customersCoordinate legal review and applicable business approval of contract terms and conditionsOwn customer contract creation from start to finish utilizing internal and customer templates including creation of custom languageCounsel field sales on agreement terms and conditions focusing on meeting requirements of business policies and regulatory guidelinesWork with multiple levels of the sales organization to develop pricing proposals/contract documents while ensuring compliance with legal guidelines OEC policies and business rulesRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree in finance or related field5 yrs of experience in contracting pricing finance customer relationship management analysis or related field (MUST)Strong analytical abilityStrong communication skills2 years knowledge of contracting and pricing strategiesStrong proficiency with all MS Office products advanced ExcelPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated organizational skills attentiveness to detail and ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment while effectively prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to build maintain and develop professional relationships and partnership within and outside of the immediate work environment2 years working within a sales organizationFamiliar with Power BI Tableau or similar toolsAbility to facilitate interpretation and understanding of data identify risks draw relevant conclusions summarize and communicate results effectively develop recommendations and implement solutionsLearn more about our health and wellness benefits which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
