Job Description
Overview Design, develop, and optimize software applications that bridge technical teams and end-users, addressing business needs through innovative solutions and enhancing member or internal user experiences. Leverage the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, to ensure efficient system improvements. Work under minimal supervision and use complete understanding of business needs and objectives to support projects that have impact on the achievement of operational goals. Advanced skill set and proficiency with procedures and techniques.Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize high-quality software applications using various, advanced programming languages and frameworks that meet business requirementsCollaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and team members to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications, propose innovative solutions, and ensure timely task completionWrite advanced, clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and organizational coding standardsImplement data structures and algorithms efficiently, optimizing code for performance, scalability, and user experienceIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced application functionality, performance, and bugs, ensuring quality and system improvementsConduct advanced and team code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and learn from colleagues' expertise to maintain a high-quality codebaseLead small projects and initiatives, while building strong working relationships with stakeholders, team members and subject matter experts, driving collective success and continuous improvementContribute to generating and adhering to application and software development engineering policies, standards, and proceduresContinuously learn from individual and team experiences, fostering growth and improvement through collaboration and continuous feedbackQualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience5-7 years of experience in application or software development engineering.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM and ERP) architecture and customization.Expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and integration with Dynamics.Experience with Copilot Studio for building AI-driven conversational experiences and automating workflows.Skilled in JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS for front-end customization.Familiarity with XRM SDK and Dynamics Web API for integrations.Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions) for Dynamics integrations.Ability to leverage Copilot Studio for creating intelligent workflows and conversational bots.Experience integrating AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and machine learning models into Dynamics for recommendations and customer engagement. Familiarity with Azure AI services (Cognitive Services, OpenAI integration) for advanced automation and personalization.Experience integrating AI-driven insights, Copilot capabilities, and Power BI dashboards within Dynamics.Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specializationAdvanced proficiency in software development principles, methodologies (including Agile), and version control systemsExpertise in programming languages and development tools such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, with strong knowledge of modern frameworks and librariesDeep understanding of database structures, web technologies, and technical applications, capable of designing and implementing scalable solutionsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to address complex technical issues efficientlyAdvanced written and verbal communication skills for articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience in software testing, quality assurance, and optimizing code for performance, scalability, and maintainabilityAdvanced knowledge of customer support tools, ticketing systems, and knowledge base platforms for effective resolution of technical issuesExpertise in data structures, algorithms, and applying them for optimal application performance and scalabilityAbility to lead projects, mentor team members, and contribute to the development of engineering policies, standards, and proceduresHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocations: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 | 5510 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526About Us Navy Federal provides much more than a job.
