Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Senior Sales/Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing technical support and solutions to customers regarding the application and use of our environmental test chambers. This role involves collaborating with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure proper chamber selection, setup, and operation for specific testing requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their testing requirements and provide guidance on chamber specifications, configurations, and recommending appropriate test chamber solutions.
  • Assist in conducting product demonstrations, trials, and tests to showcase the capabilities and functionalities of our environmental test chambers.
  • Develop technical documentation, including application notes, manuals, and guides, to aid customers in the setup, operation, and maintenance of test chambers.
  • Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products.
  • Create, modify and present quotation to customers.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding the quote, negotiate pricing terms, delivery, and close the sale.
  • Project manage any and all new work and be single point of contact beginning with initial customer contact through final inspection. Write up sales orders, sales change orders, acknowledge and check accuracy of purchase orders, provide and monitor approval drawings, process and requote changes, coordinate customer visits, monitor progress of job through the manufacturing process, and perform final inspection.
  • Perform related duties as directed by the Sales and Marketing Manager and the President.


Annual Salary: $90,000 to $115,000



  • 5+ years of experience with Environmental Test Chambers
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to environmental testing.
  • Experience with chamber design and layout considerations.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing or technical support role.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
