Job Title: Senior Associate Mechanical EngineerJob Location: Greenville TXJob Schedule: 9/80Job Description:Participates in the design of detail parts assemblies and installations for aircraft structures mission equipment installations and mechanical systems installations. Engineer applies basic engineering design and/or analytical theory with understanding of structural analysis for application to integrated system design. Engineers will be responsible for research development of layouts preparation of engineering drawings and coordination of design activities with Tooling Flight Sciences Manufacturing and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost. Designs will be accomplished using world-class three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and work will be accomplished with senior-level design engineers. Mechanical design engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on various aircraft platforms.Qualifications:Requires Masters degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineering.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.Good computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.Be able to walk to and from the flight line work in aircraft hangar environment and board/exit aircraft is required.Willing to travel or relocate if necessary.Preferred Skills:CAD skills are highly desiredUnderstanding of basic aircraft systemsPosition requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance at the Secret level which requires U.S. Citizenship.Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Children Activity,Administrative Skills,Data Warehousing,Fire And Safety Engineering,Fleet,Asic Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
