TRANSACTIONAL TAX ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY Locations: Los Angeles, CA | Boston, MA | Atlanta, GAHYBRID A top-10 AmLaw firm is seeking a talented Transactional Tax Associate Attorney to join its Corporate Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to advise on complex middle-market M&A and private equity transactions within a dynamic, collaborative environment. Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentialsActive Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing5+ years of substantive transactional tax experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firmDemonstrated experience advising on tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and private equity (PE) transactions in the middle market PE spaceStrong analytical, drafting, and research skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent business judgment, organizational abilities, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously and work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams Key Responsibilities Advise clients on the federal, state, and international tax implications of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint venturesDraft, review, and negotiate tax-related provisions in transactional documentsConduct detailed tax due diligence and provide risk assessments to clients and deal teamsCollaborate with corporate, finance, and other practice groups to deliver comprehensive tax solutions that align with clients’ strategic goalsStay current on evolving tax laws and regulatory developments impacting M&A and private equity transactionsMaintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Why Join Us?This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the nation’s premier law firms, recognized for its sophisticated deal work and industry-leading transactional tax practice.
