The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, strong knowledge of payment systems and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (Java) and frameworksPrepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and maintain test documentation.Perform various types of testing: regression, functional, sanity, smoke, blackbox, and API testing.Track and report defects using JIRA and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective.Monitor project progress and provide daily status reports to managers.Analyze business requirements and validate new requirements against documentation.Coordinate with development teams to understand business needs and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Contribute to automation regression and continuous improvement of test processes.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.4+ years of hands-on experience in web application automation testing using Selenium with Java.Experience with automation frameworks: BDD-Cucumber, TestNG.Proficient in bug tracking tools (JIRA), version control (Git/GitHub), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket).Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.Knowledge of payment processing systems (Swift, ISO payments, Clearing and Settlement Systems) is a plus.Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle) and basic networking concepts (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, IIS).Exposure to Agile Scrum methodology.ISTQB and ITIL V3 Foundation certifications preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Additional/Desirable SkillsExperience with Maven.Knowledge of reporting tools (Extend Reports).Exposure to AI, ML Ops, Google Associate Cloud Engineer (learning stage), and tools like DVC, Prometheus, Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes.Experience in manual testing and preparing test documentation.
