Job Title:Automotive Service Advisor / WriterLocation:  3740 Westdale Pkwy SW Cedar Rapids IA 52404 - Opening soon! Job Overview:As a Senior Automotive Service Advisor / Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicles. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle and because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our guests.  Service Advisors have the responsibility of taking our guests through the entire repair process keeping them informed of the status of their vehicle and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.As a Senior Automotive Service Advisor / Writer you would also coach and mentor your teammates to grow the skills experience effectiveness and efficiency of the team as a whole. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Greet every guest that enters our facility with hospitality and respectPresent the best solution to properly repair our guests vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understandManage the stores workflow in an effective and efficient mannerConsistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrityMaintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all timesCommunicate on the phone in a clear professional mannerBuild long-term relationships between the store yourself and the guest we serveDirects coordinates and participates in performing customer service activitiesShuttle guests as needed in CBA branded vehicleEnsure that all repairs are performed to proper specificationsWork together as a team and assist other employees as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications : Qualifications:Current drivers licensesDriving record acceptable to our current insurance carrierProficiency in Windows based computer software and automotive store applicationsExperience in an Automotive Customer Service role or Automotive Service Write/Advisor/Sales rolePhysical Requirements:Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday Friday 7am 6pmBeing on your feet the majority of the workday (standing walking coordinating parts etc.)Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environmentAdditional Information : Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency integrity and a philosophy of people first.
