Senior Backend Engineer at Finvest

We are looking for a senior backend engineer to join our team in India. As one of the founding members of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our product and engineering culture.What you will doBuild Finn AI, the first AI-powered wealth manager.Develop and maintain the core backend infrastructure of the Finvest platform.Push the boundaries of engineering as we build solutions for money management, using AI and data to make complex finance easier for everyone.Work closely with frontend engineers and the rest of the founding team to build exceptional user experiences.What you are good atHave 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing and deploying production-level backend systemsExperience with ML models and AI-driven systems - either from past projects or a strong willingness to work on ML-powered applicationsFluent in Node/Typescript, Python, Postgres, and AWSProven ability to architect complex distributed system with experience in services like Kafka, Redis, KubernetesExperience with performance and optimization problems and eagerness to both diagnose and prevent these problemsComfortable taking ownership from start to finish, build new systems from scratch, and iterate quickly in a startup environment.
