As part of the D-Solve team your primary role will be to design and implement innovative experimental plans that result in new products that selectively remove impurities and gangue materials from targeted mining ores/concentrates/tailings. This is a full-time position with approximately 75%of the time dedicated to hands-on laboratory work and 25% allocated for project management data analysis and reporting duties.Key RequirementsAdvanced degree in Chemistry Geochemistry Organic Chemistry Chemical EngineeringCandidates with other advanced degrees will also be considered (e.g. mineral aquatic chemistry material science polymer chemistry biochemistry geology mineralogy or a related field.)10 plus years of industry experienceExperience in and a strong understanding of inorganic chemistry mineral aquatic chemistry or a similar discipline is required. Experience in mining is preferred. Experience in data processing and analysis is preferred. Preferred experience in the industrial chemical or biochemical extraction of metal ions from mining ores such as acid or heap leaching. Demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects to achieve their objectives or the ability to make informed decisions regarding project discontinuation when necessary. Willingness to commit approximately 75% of working hours to laboratory activities including research experimentation and analysis.
