IMEG is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil team in Ontario California. In this role you will lead design efforts for moderate to complex municipal infrastructure and site development projects providing technical direction and oversight to a team of engineers. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams deliver innovative engineering solutions and ensure projects meet client expectations and IMEGs high standards. Advance your career by leading impactful civil engineering projects with a national leader in infrastructure design.Principal ResponsibilitiesLead design efforts for the analysis and implementation of municipal infrastructure and site plansPerform site assessments and generate detailed analysis and technical reportsUtilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs specifications and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standardsInteract with clients to gather project requirements communicate technical information and build strong client relationshipsProvide in-process design reviews and implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry and client standardsProvide technical training mentoring and assistance in resolving field issues with minimal support from senior staffStay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in civil engineering; contribute to research and innovation effortsPrioritize safety and regulatory compliance in all engineering work interpreting and applying state and local design criteriaCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutionsParticipate in project interviews and presentationsRequired Qualifications and SkillsBachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) License required10 years of experience minimum required 12 preferred in the building design consulting industryMastery of design techniques tools and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specificationsMastery of technical and analytical skills including proficiency in the Civil Engineering fieldStrong training mentoring and leadership skillsAbility to perform final quality control check in their area of expertiseAbility to sell work and develop client relationshipsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groupsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsEagerness to adapt to new challengesProficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word Excel and OutlookAbility to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Why Join Us IMEG puts people firstwith a strong focus on career growth work-life balance and meaningful impact.
