The successful candidate will hold a Professional Engineer license and possess extensive experience overseeing large-scale complex civil development projects including hospitals airports residential communities retail centers and educational campuses.Our Civil Engineering team comprises a dynamic group of professionals committed to delivering landmark projects for both private and public sector clients. At Arcadis we provide an environment that fosters professional advancement and personal growth.Join us and contribute to shaping the future of civil engineering!Role accountabilities:Develop and grow the civil engineering practice based in the Houston Texas Region working with current and hopefully new clients as a result of effective business development activitiesDevelop and manage a Team that can build positive relationships and connections to facilitate new project opportunities for Arcadis while delivering outstanding projects to our clientsSmart and effective project management and oversight to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations for quality while ensuring projects also meet or exceed Arcadiss commercial objectivesEngage and work directly with clients design staff and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvalsQualifications & Experience:Well-experienced Civil Engineer PE who has over 12 years of experience delivering civil site development projects and managing complex budgets in the Houston AreaLicensed (PE) Civil EngineerExperience in building strong relationships with clients and the professional knowledge to undertake business development activities to grow this business practiceExperience in creating a positive work environment that allows others to do their best workStrong communication skills written and oralCommitment to health and safetyWhy ArcadisWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
