Youareresponsible forresearching developing implementing and communicating pharmacy initiatives programs and services to both internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures the clinicallyappropriateand cost-effective use of medication aligning with and supporting Premeras clinical and financial goals.Join us to shape and lead a pioneering oncology program where your clinicalexpertisewill drive meaningful changes for entire populations.Whatyoulldo:Develop oncology drug class specific management strategies including but not limited to trend forecasting & monitoring drug management strategies rebate optimization companion diagnostics outcomes based or warranty negotiationMeasure outcomes of oncology drug strategies document proof points develop whitepaper and market facing program presentationsLead provider engagement in reviewing new drug data gathering input on new strategies pathways and guidelines proactive provider communicationsleveragingUM process for insights and opportunitiesLead the development of cost containment programse.g.develop dose rounding strategiesleveragingbest practice from academic oncology centers to enable adoption in community oncology practicesMaintain market intelligence (e.g.new drug development best practice in cost containment practice innovations from oncology practice community evidence based national guidelines opportunities in manufacturer warranty or outcomes-based agreements etc.) to support innovations in PBCs effort in overall oncology program developmentProvide consultative services for formulary and UM strategies SFclientsneedspertaining tooncology provider contracting related to oncology infusion therapies member engagement case management Rx products affordability programs among othersSupport peer to peer review as neededWhatyoullbring:Pharmacist with an advanced degree (e.g.PharmD MBA MHA MPH) or(6)yearswork experience(Required)Active US Pharmacist license in good standing(Required)Four (4) years of clinical program developmentmanagementor consultation in a managed care setting(Required)Board Certified in Oncology Pharmacy (HighlyPreferred)Experience in managed care pharmacyExperience and/or familiarity with EHR Oncology provider practices specialty pharmacy practices cancer research evidence based national guidelines cost-effective drug managementExperience with project managementExperience with MedicareExperience with Health Benefit ExchangesDemonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple complex concurrent projectsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; strong presentation skillsProven ability to build andmaintainrelationships with both internal and external individualsAbility to work independently as well as a member of a teamStrong analytical skills; intermediate MS Word ExcelPowerPointand Outlook skillsFamiliarity with local and regional health care issuesPremera total rewardsOur comprehensive total rewards package provides support resources and opportunities to help employees thrive and grow.
