City/StateVirginia Beach VAWork ShiftFirst (Days)Overview:Sentara is hiring a Senior Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for our Specialty PharmacyLocation: Hybrid- Virginia Beach 23464Status: Full Time (40 hrs/wk)Shift: DaysAs a leader within the Ambulatory Clinical Support Team this specialist provides advanced clinical expertise to support specialty pharmacy program design staff training and patient-centered interventions. The role serves as a subject matter expert in disease-state management contributing to evidence-based protocols and measurable clinical outcomes. They will also serve as the Senior Clinical Pharmacist for accreditation and regulatory requirements. Manages patient drug therapy in accordance with applicable clinical practice standards and oversees formulary implementation and compliance with P&T-approved criteria at the local facility.
