Job DescriptionSenior Complex Claims Specialist (Professional Lines)Job SummarySeeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Complex Claims Specialist to join a dynamic and growing Claims team. This role focuses on handling high-severity primary Professional Lines claims including Miscellaneous Professional Liability A&E Allied Health and Media claims from inception to resolution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing complex claims and litigation processes while providing technical support and mentorship to the claims team. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence two days per week.Compensation PackageSalary Range: $150000 - $165000 per year plus performance-based bonus.Comprehensive benefits package including:401(k) with competitive company matching.ResponsibilitiesManage high-severity Professional Lines claims from inception to resolution with minimal supervision.Draft complex technical coverage analyses and correspondence.Serve as a subject matter expert within the team modeling best practices for litigation and claims handling.Investigate negotiate and utilize alternative dispute resolution methods to achieve positive claim outcomes.Identify and address emerging exposures and claims trends.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including underwriters legal counsel and external experts.Identify and address suspected fraudulent claims in coordination with the special investigations unit.Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of claim files.Mentor and provide training to team members fostering professional development.Develop and deliver training content for claims team and underwriters.Qualifications/RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of experience in Professional Liability and/or Specialty claims handling.Bachelors degree required; JD from an ABA-accredited law school preferred.Proven ability to manage high-severity claims and achieve positive outcomes through investigation negotiation and litigation.Expert knowledge of Professional Lines coverage litigation processes and negotiation strategies.Strong analytical verbal and written communication skills.Proven track record of mentoring and training team members.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Adjuster licensing required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.Disclaimer: Please note that this job description may not cover all duties responsibilities or aspects of the role and it is subject to modification at the employers discretion.#LI-BC1Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Corporate Paralegal,Baan,IT Sales and Marketing,Civil Quality Control,Activex,Jboss Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 150000 - 165000
