Senior Compliance Program Manager at Medtronic Plc

In this role, you will maximize business value by establishing systems and practices for the design and management of equipment to optimize availability and its effective life, through the prioritization of effective and efficient planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance. Our Enterprise Maintenance Excellence function in Medtronic is part of the Operation Innovations (OI) Group. We focus on all aspects of the equipment life cycle, from development, maintain as new and ultimate decommissioning. We will engineer the extraordinary through rigorous application of technical excellence and enterprise-wide development, deployment, and execution of engineering strategy. Responsibilities
- Lead the Global compliance function in Maintenance Excellence team to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated and driven through MEx
- Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively at site level and on a global team
- Establish best practice standards and principles for equipment requirements and maintenance bringing compliance, regulatory and quality focus
- Support the deployment of Enterprise Maintenance Excellence (EMEx) road map as part of Medtronic Performance System (MPS)
- Provide technical expertise on regulations impacting new and legacy equipment
- Develop and deploy through collaboration best practices in equipment and maintenance excellence with key stakeholders
- Partner with internal and external experts to maintain and strengthen relevant engineering and technical expertise
- Grow and nurture cross site and cross functional relationships in a large, multi-site, matrixed organization
- Develops, implements, administers and certifies compliance policies, procedures, and practices
- Ensures alignment with legal and ethical standards of the organization
- Provides compliance advice, investigates complaints and verifies deficiencies are corrected
- Develops employee communication and training programs that focus on the elements of a companywide compliance program for equipment standards
- Analyzes metrics and audits functional compliance program with regards to equipment standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintains current knowledge of regulations, and industry guidance that impact the company's global compliance program for equipment
- Lead and support team to understand and comply with company policies & procedures and external standards & guidance
- Travel up to 50%
Must Haves
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of Quality/Regulatory/Operations experience in a regulated industry OR advanced degree and 5+ years of experience
Nice to Have
- Experience leading, developing, and evaluating a team.
- Experience with direct transformation work in operations, quality or engineering
- Excellent team building, communication, facilitation, and leadership skills

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$144,000.00 - $216,000.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
