Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.DescriptionProvides support to properly align the J2 workforce with the growing use of IC and DoD AI / ML initiatives/projects.Supports the research acquisition fielding sustaining and training of AI / ML tools/applications for the J2 workforce.Creates AI / ML models to run systematic processes on raw data and selects models that pull the most relevant information from collected data to assist in creating IC and DoD machine learning programs to look for or seek out specific conditions in space/space-related data and respond based on USSPACECOM PIRs / CCIRs.Supports USSPACECOM J2 intelligence processes critical to near-term mid-term and far-term efforts for the Command components and other DoD organizations. A positive work environment where employees are respected supported and engaged.Employs mathematics statics information science artificial intelligence machine learning network science probability modeling data mining data engineering data warehousing data compression data protection and / or other scientific techniques to correlate complex technical findings into graphical written visual and verbal narrative products on trends of existing intelligence data to leverageother IC data sources.Develops and utilizes machine learning and data mining algorithms including but not limited to Multiple Information Model Synthesis Architecture (MIMOSA) prediction algorithms based on open source capabilities.Integrates or codes algorithms to support Government intelligence search and discovery missions.Makes best-practice recommendations on managing data within hardware software storage and bandwidth constraints. Employs data science techniques to support predictive analysis social media and crowd-source data analytics wargaming and strategy development.Employs exploratory analysis and rapid iteration techniques of large volumes of data to quickly derive intelligence.Prepares products to describe and document findings and activities. RequirementsDesired Experience:12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.Desired Education:Masters degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have bachelors degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience for a total of 17 years as a substitute to the masters degree.Possesses an advanced degree in Computer Science Mathematics Statistics or a related quantitative field.Security Clearance:Security clearance required TS/SCI with a CI POLY or the ability to obtain one.Location:USSPACECOM Headquarters Schriever Air Force Base (AFB) Colorado Springs CO.
