Senior Construction Manager, Municipal at Lockwood Andrews & Newnam

Full-timeDescriptionOversee and manage construction phaseOversee technical direction.Monitor that the project is constructed in compliance with contract documents budget and schedule.Establish project procedures problem-solving activities budget reviews and certifications needed.Prepare agendas and conduct project related meetingsReview contractors construction schedule and monitor progress for adherenceReview contractor claimsReview and approve contractors pay applicationsInterface with clients and contractorsInterface with project stakeholdersMaintain project tracking logs and documentationMonitor safety programs onsiteInitiate document revisions project reviews and processes change orders.Receive and distribute test reports.Manage inspectors assigned to projectPrepare lists of items to complete or correct and establish close-out proceduresPerform post-construction services and investigations as needed.RequirementsMinimum 15 years of experience in general civil facility mechanical electrical plumbing control and specialty fields of construction.Minimum of 7 years experience managing other inspectors.Professional Engineer License preferredExperience with Microsoft Word Excel and Project.Prior experience with large capital improvement public works projects involving coordination between multi-disciplined contractors.10 hour OSHA safety course; 40 hour Supervisor course preferred.First aid & CPR training preferred.ICBO or equivalent certification preferred.Prior supervisory/ lead inspector experience.Lockwood Andrews & Newnam Inc.
