Senior Contract AnalystPosting SummaryThis position has responsibility as a contract analyst for operational aspects of procurement contracts and serve as a liaison between Purchasing Services and University departments to ensure emerging requests are identified, appropriate documentation included, prioritized, reviewed, and resolved in a thorough and timely manner. Manage workload with all activities related to the reviewing of procurement contracts to ensure all legal protections and terms and conditions are reviewed per policy and meeting instructed compliance protocols. Oversee and manage the current contract management software platform, while onboarding/training, standardizing workflow, continuous improvement for building best practices, and recommending strategic initiatives to enhance processes. This position is expected to be completely familiar with all aspects of contracting, legal review, and provide excellent internal and external customer service. This position is expected to possess a moderate understanding of contract compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and University policies/procedures. Excellent organizational skills are required to manage the status of all contracts that require review while meeting multiple deadlines, attending meetings and responding to unique stakeholders' needs. Work with the Director of Purchasing to take the lead on short and long-term projects, specialized strategic initiatives and/or leadership skills. (e.g., prepare Board of Trustees documents, participate in RFP's and other special projects as assigned.
