Senior Contracts Manager (HYBRID TELEWORK)

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced contracts professional to lead proposal development, proposal negotiations and contract execution of both international and commercial based contracts for Undersea Mission Systems (UMS) market segment. This mid?level position will be responsible for contractual oversight of a diverse portfolio that spans Direct Commercial Sales and International based contracts. Success in this role requires deep expertise in contract negotiation, rigorous compliance oversight, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to safeguard program interests while fueling business growth. This position will require the ability to collaborate, provide contractual guidance and support cross-functional team members (e.g. Legal, Program Management, Finance, etc.) as needed. Additionally, the ability to analyze and mitigate contractual risks as well as develop contingency plans to minimize potential losses are key elements of this position. Lastly, the candidate should have a working knowledge and experience with financial instruments, such as Corporate Guarantees, performance bonds, bid bonds and letters of credit are required.

Advanced degree and professional certifications (e.g. CPCM, CFCM, CCCM) are preferred Experience with Executive Proposal Process requirements with an ability to efficiently brief senior leadership Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions and providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
