Job Description
As Senior Cost Analyst you will be a member of the Plant Management Team reporting disciplinary to the Plant Manager and job related to the Finance and Controlling team of the stow HQ in Belgium.You will be responsible for plant- and sales-controlling as well as reporting forecasting and budgeting.With your strong technical understanding you will gain a broad and deep knowledge of our products operations value stream and business model.You will be the financial advisor to the Management and have a real impact on our companys growth and the strategic and operational planning of our production plant.Task and ResponsibilitiesPlant ResultsReporting forecasting budgeting product- and process-cost controllingAnalyze value stream and P&L impactsAnalyze production orders plan vs actualAnalyze production efficiency and explore potential for improvementsMaintain and update standard costingBenchmarking and best practices Cross-Functional SupportSupport and build costing for commercial price settingStrong liaison with finance and accountingConduct ad hoc analyses to support management decisions Drive Digital & Process ImprovementsFurther improvement of SAP PLC costing tool for US offer toolConstant improvement of controlling tools Qualifications : Job RequirementsMaster of Finance or Business Administration or similar through experience.3 to 5 years of solid experience in controlling of a manufacturing plantStrong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong technical understanding of the value stream of a manufacturing operationSolid knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (SAP experience is a must) and in depth knowledge of MS Excel/power BINice to haves : on hands experience in SAP R/3 and/or S4H.Self-organized and self-motivated.Used to work under pressure.Creative and proactive to adjust to all sorts of challenges in the business environment.Outstanding presentation and communication skills.Flexibility to travel (especially during first in training 4-6 weeks)Additional Information : What do we offer youPTO days Paid sick leave US paid holidaysMedical Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany paid Short- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceCompany Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment401K with employer match currently 4%Partial Tuition Reimbursement after 12 monthsGross SalaryQuality Safety Health Environment ComplianceEvery employee at stow contributes to a safe and compliant work environment.
