Attention to detail excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.Responsibilities Include:The National Commercial Underwriting Counsel position is responsible for handling large volumes of files and time sensitive material associated with transaction matters and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assignments.Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits to underwrite the issuance of title insurance and provide guidance in the performance of real estate settlement services.Provide underwriting support counsel and authorization to company personnel agents and clients related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies.Provide guidance to company personnel in the performance of real estate settlement services.Issue underwriting standards and guidelines in accordance with established company processes.Requirements:Ability to foster develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationshipsThe ability to read analyze and interpret complex legal documentsThe ability to apply logic or legal principles to a wide variety of complex problemsKnowledge of the title insurance industry including knowledge of its products policies and endorsementsJuris Doctor; active and current member of a State Bar10 years of experience as Commercial Underwriting CounselKnowledge of commercial insurance coverage and real estate terminologyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple projectsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficient in a variety of computer software systems such as Microsoft OfficeWillingness and ability to learn and utilize new software systemsGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of CRC Group: At CRC Group were committed to supporting every aspect of teammates well-being physical emotional financial social and professional.
