MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.This role supports a mission-critical cybersecurity initiative and is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise and a desire to shape the security infrastructure of the future. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:You will engineer, design, implement, integrate, and sustain Comply-to-Connect (C2C) deployment support to migrate, deploy, improve, and maintain C2C services across both classified and unclassified environments.Manage and maintain appliances, applications, servers, and supporting infrastructure essential to C2C operations.Coordinate with the network service provider to develop and maintain detailed network architecture diagrams.Evaluate system performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technology upgrades in line with best practices and standardization goals.Monitor and troubleshoot C2C systems, investigating faults and optimizing performance.Collaborate with internal teams and customers at various levels to facilitate communication and project success.Provide support for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities associated with cybersecurity technologies, as applicable. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ additional years of cyber experience in lieu of a degree.5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.Hands-on experience with technologies used in large-scale enterprise networks and data centers.Familiarity with enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, antivirus tools, application firewalls, high-availability solutions, network management systems, and virtualized systems.Strong understanding of Windows and Linux systems, operating system security principles, TCP/IP networking, 802.1x, and core network security concepts.Must possess an IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) or be able to obtain one within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications:Experience implementing and maintaining complex software systems involving multiple components.Real-time, enterprise-level Comply-to-Connect (C2C) expertise, including vendor-agnostic services and open-source security solutions, with proficiency in DoD integration, engineering, and sustainment practices.Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).Proficiency with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, and tcpdump. Clearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. Physical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
