Job Title :Senior Data Analyst (Data Modeling BI Reporting Public Health Analytics) Location:Austin Texas On-site(Local candidate only) We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: Key Responsibilities & Impact Strategic Problem-Solving: Research gather and analyze facts to devise and present solutions to complex operational and technological problems prioritizing information for executive stakeholders. Data Transformation & Reporting: Transform data into actionable information used for critical business decisions. This includes acquiring data from various sources performing deep trend analysis and correlation and creating concise regular reports. Business Intelligence (BI) Development: Utilize creativity and specialty reporting tools to design develop and maintain data reports dashboards and visualizations for business users. This involves developing metadata tables and user interfaces. Data Modeling & Optimization: Develop or contribute to as-is/to-be data models to identify and implement opportunities for greater operational efficiencies and effectiveness. Performance Measurement: Establish benchmarks and develop frameworks for comprehensive operational trend analysis and performance measurement. Policy & Systems Analysis: Analyze existing data policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems and functional areas ensuring compliance and effectiveness. Project Documentation: Develop strategic and project SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) materials including gap analysis recommendations roadmaps requirements design documents data flow diagrams and use cases. Required Qualifications & Experience Senior Analytical Ability: Proven ability to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Executive Reporting: Required ability to develop and present reports identifying gaps in technology and operational effectiveness to executive stakeholders. Modeling & Mapping: Demonstrated skill in effectively mapping data and identifying improvements along with experience in data modeling. Public Sector Experience: Required experience within the State or Federal Public Sector is highly preferred. Tool Expertise: Proven experience using specialty reporting tools for visualization and dashboard creation.
