Senior Data Engineer at Leidos

Leidos is seeking a Data Analyst for a 200 FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsors Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM Authentication Authorization Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Program Data Analyst will coordinate and compile data across ICAM services tools and areas to ensure that data addresses business questions for senior leaderships reporting and analysis needs. Will provide data using monitoring tools to evaluate event-based operational responses real-time system checks and track service response times. These tools will assist the program to tactically and strategically assess established metrics for effectiveness and if necessary create optimized metrics response times that more accurately reflect system availability across all ICAM platformsDocuments reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required.Designs tests and documents processes to extract data via Splunk Elk and SQL queries.Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software.Performs data collection analysis validation and reporting.Experience with PowerBI reportingExtracts and analyzes data from various sources including databases manual files APIs and external websites.Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization.Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.Strong analytical and organizational skillsWorks to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverablesCoordinates with the Sponsor understands the Sponsors technical and mission intent and operationalizing technical solutions that enact their intentCoordinates across technical and organizational boundariesEstablishes and maintains an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos valuesRegularly employs ingenuity and creativity to develop new technical solutions and systems in order to achieve functional objectives.Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members to convey new practices and approachesRecommends and develops new technical solutions products and/or standards in support of functions strategy and operations.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Required QualsActive TS/SCI with PolygraphBS/BA degree with 12 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.5 years of experience as a Data Analyst with strong SQL expertiseExperience querying data from multiple datasources including Splunk ELK RESTful APIs and S3Ability to document reporting requirements and processes to include any special reporting requirements as necessaryExperience conducting regular audits to ensure data integrityAbility to identify analyze and communicate data issues or potential areas of improvement and recommend changes to managementExperience balancing multiple requirements sources and prioritizing work effectivelyExperience consolidating data from multiple sources and delivering reports/visualizations to help drive data-based strategic decision makingAbility to transform data into consistent formats for use in reportingTeam working skills to work cross-organizationally to confirm accuracy of dataExperience with Java Python or other programming languageDesired QualsExperience with the Sponsors entitlement management programsPrior experience with programs of similar size and complexityExperience with the Sponsor and the Sponsors missionExperience with TableauIf youre looking for comfort keep scrolling.
