Senior Database Architect at Peraton

ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Senior Database Architect to join our team supporting a large-scale national security credentialing system in a complex dynamic environment. The candidate will design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations programming and security. Must be able to work on site in Colorado Springs CO at least 3 days per weekPosition Description: Serve as the Application DBA responsible for:Developing SQL reporting queries.Troubleshooting database issues.Database performance tuning.SQL statement tuning.Reviewing and implementing database design changes.Coding (procedures functions packages triggers etc.).QualificationsBasic Qualifications:8 years experience with a Bachelors 6 years with a Masters 3 years with a PhD 12 years with a HS DiplomaMust be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance3 years or more experience in writing and tuning SQL queries.3 years or more experience designing and implementing database structures.3 years or more of SQL coding / scripting experience.Able to work flexible schedule/weekends if needed.Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language).Preferred Qualifications:1 year experience in Oracle Database Administration.1 year experience creating issues in Gitlab.1 year experience code management with Git.Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program.Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework.Peraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
