Job Title: Senior Database Manager

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite/Hybrid – Local Candidates Preferred)

Contract

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of experience as an InterSystems IRIS/Caché ObjectScript Developer.

• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing IRIS/Caché databases, including data modeling and SQL development.

• 7+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Queries, JSON, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and XML.

• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Experience developing and consuming Web Services within Caché/IRIS environments.

• Experience with SOAP, SSL Certificates, Java Keystores, and Encryption technologies.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, FTP, SFTP, PGP, and Public/Private Key infrastructure.

• Understanding of data governance frameworks and HIPAA compliance

Responsibilities:

• Design and document system enhancements, new features, and bug fixes.

• Develop and modify application and database code for HMS applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues.

• Provide work estimates and support Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrum activities.

• Maintain technical documentation and application repositories.

• Collaborate with HMS Support and Applications Management teams.

• Complete all required Department training and compliance activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare domain experience.

• Experience supporting large enterprise applications.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
