Job Title: Senior Database/ETL Test Engineer Location: Boston MA Duration: 6 MonthsPosition Summary:Navitas Partners LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Database/ETL Test Engineer to join our Data Operations and Technology team. Reporting to the Manager of Software Test the engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data systems and applications.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute test cases based on test strategies test plans and business requirements.Test ETL and Data Warehouse components including backend data-driven tests.Create strategies and test cases for data applications.Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.Identify and communicate issues related to data submissions or ETL transactions collaborating with DBAs to assist in remediation strategies and timelines.Define and track quality assurance metrics including defects test results and test status.Document issues using bug tracking tools and assist in their resolution.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Strong experience in database testing with advanced SQL skills; Snowflake experience preferred.Experience with ETL tools and data warehouse testing; Talend Data Fabric experience preferred.Familiarity with automated testing methodologies; Python experience preferred.Experience with Agile software development and testing in cloud environments preferably MS Azure.Five or more years of experience testing backend applications focusing on complex SQL queries.Experience analyzing ETL mapping documents to design test plans for ETL validation.Ability to create and execute test strategies for both front-end applications and data warehousing processes.For more details reach atAbout Navitas Partners LLC:It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growingTechnical / ITstaffing firms in the US providing services to numerous clients.
