Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Hours: 8am-5pm M-F In House/RemoteJob Summary:This role will be responsible for the preparation of steel shop and erection drawings, detailing high, complex jobs and utilizing AutoCAD and MBS (Metal Building Software).Core Value Expectations:Actively pursue high character, high trust, and high performance personally, corporately, and in all aspects of the position.Provide distinctive quality and unparalleled customer service both internally and externally.Demonstrate and promote integrity, respect, and teamwork.Invite others to help you grow through living authentically with nothing to prove, lose, or hide.Evidence humility by actively receiving teaching and mentoring.As a Detailer, You Will:Be able to prepare erection drawings with accurate part identification, quantities, complete sections and details for proper installation of materialsBe able to prepare legible shop details for fabricationHave the ability to read and decipher architectural drawings Maintain a high productivity rate, with low errorsEnsure all projects are completed on or before scheduled due dateBe able to detail high, complex jobs such as hips, valleys, skews, hangers, mezzanines, etc., without being checked Requirements:Required Education, Experience & Skills:High School Diploma/GED/Trade School CertificationAutoCAD and MBS – minimum of 10 years’ experienceProficient in geometry and trigonometry Strong attention to detail Highly organized and dependableStrong work ethicWork overtime as necessaryLegal work authorization in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
