This includes developing a Standard RFID Reader Product Line for diverse ecosystems and targeting the Healthcare and Industrial verticals within HIDs core Identity Technologies (IDT) Business Area. As ourSenior Director Product Management youll support HIDs successby:Managingthe entire product line life cycle ensuring optimum EAT RFID Standard Reader & Modules positioningScrutinizingthe market competition and trends by conducting research visiting customers and partners and attending trade shows to align strategyBuildingand leadinga team of Product Managers including hiring mentoring performance management and succession planning to ensure organizational capabilityDevelopingand supporting go-to-market plans in partnership with Sales Product Marketing and MarComm while definingand communicatingthe long-term product vision and multi-year strategy including portfolio rationalization and investment prioritiesCreatingmarket-relevant new products and solutionsDrivingreuse and economies of scale for products technologies and platformsApplyingdata-driven methods for prioritizing and planning requirementsEvangelizingproducts and solutions in partnership with Marketing and Sales Support teamsEnsuringregulatory compliance and prioritizing product-related risks including certifications cybersecurity IP strategy and supply chain continuityCollaboratingacross Business Units to align strategies drive technology reuse and deliver integrated unified solutionsProposingmajor new functionality (Epics) using Lean Portfolio Management processesPrioritizingFeatures using SAFe processes with Product Owners Engineering Leaders and Business OwnersCoachingProduct Owners and ensuring acceptance of Stories supporting priority featuresSupportingSAFe Product Owners with story writing and prioritization for designated scrum teamsUpdatingthe roadmap with plans and priorities from LPM and PI PlanningOwningproduct/solution line profitability (Gross Contribution)Participatingin bid processescosting pricing and solution proposalswhile acting as Go/No-Go gatekeeper for the Product LineSupportingSales with pre-sales activities including specifications recommendations white papers customer visits and competitive analysisEstablishingand maintainingexecutive-level relationships with strategic customers to gather intelligence validate direction and ensure success; participatingin and initiatingpartner negotiationsParticipatingin required Product Management and BU reportingRepresentingthe company in professional associations and industry eventsYourExperienceand Background include:Hold a BA or BS in related field. MBA is preferred.Minimum 15 years of experience in Product Management and Marketing with 5 years in the IoT & RFID industryExperience in lean and agile development methodology (ideally SAFe certified)Solid leadership and management experience including strategic thinking innovation coaching and mentoring scaling and collaborationUnderstanding of market and competitive environment including deal activity and potential opportunities.Good reasoning ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively to achieve desired business results.Attention to detail thoroughness and being able to deal with complexity and ambiguity.Good listening skills and must be able to diplomatically deal with difficult situations.This role is truly global so the ideal candidate should know and be familiar with mature and more emerging market realities.Global mindset and culturally aware.
