Join our team and start your journey today!Description The Senior Director Finance will report to the Business Unit VP Finance and work in collaboration with HVACR Americas leadership and Enterprise Finance key Finance leadership role will be a business partner providing insights for decision making and leading planning activities. This highly analytical role requires strategic thinking and business knowledge to provide hands-on management to lead FP&A organization to its next level of maturity. The candidate must have a broad range of experience strong business acumen be detail oriented change agile and operate effectively in a fast-paced growing organization.As the Senior Director Finance you will: Collaborate as a business partner to monitor business performance and plan financial strategiesLeads annual budgeting and long-term planning processesProvides business insights through segment customer and product profitability analysis for decision making to achieve profitable growthManages cost and investment in annual budget and long-range plan ensuring alignment to strategic initiativesDirects team in preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial planning and analysis activitiesProvides variance analysis of current financial performance to historical results and Annual Operating Plan identifying risks and opportunities to planDevelops standard policies and methods to collect and analyze financial data ensuring accurate and consistent financial reporting and forecastingRequired education experiences & skills: 10 years of experience in a relevant financial leadership position with proven track record of leadership with a commitment to excellence for planning and analysis in a global manufacturing organization5 or more years of people management experience with a demonstrated ability to build and develop teamsA partner and leader in both the finance and business organizations; someone who can drive change promote teamwork and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organizationSimilar size manufacturing organization ($3.0 billion in revenues)High degree of integrity and transparencyA problem solver who is hands on results-oriented and deadline consciousAbility to work independently and on a team building and sustaining excellent working relationships at multiple levels within business and enterprise organizationsLeader with confidence and collaborative approach assertive and driving finance objectivesCreates the urgency and excitement to continue to improve processes and resultsTranslates vision into practical actionable and quantifiable plans and executes flawlessly in a safe mannerBachelors degree in accounting finance or related fieldPreferred education experiences & skillsMBA or Masters level degreeCPAWhy Work in the Greater Miami Valley AreaOur facility is located in Sidney OH conveniently located within driving distance to several larger cities such as Dayton Troy and Columbus. The area is home to several growing communities with restaurants festivals shopping and arts scenes that make them exciting places to live and work.About our LocationThe newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise our air conditioning related products help bring comfort and convenience in commercial industrial and residential spaces. The cold chain business helps ensure that food safely and efficiently travels from farm to fork. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney who all support a multitude of business functions. With the blend of businesses and functions represented under this one roof there are many opportunities for advancement within the Sidney locationCollaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week.
