Lets push the boundaries of whats possible together.As the Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase as a part of Consumer and Community Banking Digital Technology you will lead multiple technical areas oversee the activities of various departments and collaborate across different technical domains. Your expertise will be utilized cross-functionally to promote the adoption and implementation of technical methods within diverse teams helping the firm stay at the forefront of industry trends best practices and technological advancements.Job responsibilitiesManages development teams scrum masters to develop features / functionality to achieve business goalsServes as the lead technical partner on a Product teamCollaborates with the Product Owner General Manager Lead Designer to understand the business strategy and design technical solutions that align with the strategyPartners with the product owner to ensure the right balance and focus on technical requirements and business requirementsEnsure for building a diverse and inclusive team culturePartners with Product Architect to ensure the target state architecture feeds into the roadmap with the Product OwnerEnsure for technology modernization and delivery improvementsEnsure for applying architectural and engineering standards and design principles to detailed designRegularly seeks feedback on team members from relevant stakeholders and uses that feedback to optimize team dynamics and make adjustments as necessaryCollaborates with the Scrum Master to understand team dynamics and performance; makes necessary adjustments to improve performanceWork closely with stakeholders to provide status iterative releases and make design decision throughout the developmentRequired qualifications capabilities and skillsFormal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 10 years applied addition 5 year of experience leading technologists to manage anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise and more broadly across the organizationStrong technical skills; understands how software is developed and deployed along with knowledge of programming best practicesUses empathy; understand team dynamics and organizational boundaries / constraintsAbility to use and analyze data/organizational metrics to foster teams continuous improvement.Ability and willingness to provide constructive feedback to employees with the goal of improving performance / increasing productivityAbility to create an environment that fosters collaboration trust diversity/inclusion andConflict resolution skillsStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including non-technicalAbility to influence across various stakeholders to ensure the appropriate focus on technical discipline/requirementsManages technical budget for assigned product(s)Preferred qualifications capabilities and skillsKnowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operationsIn depth understanding of common development design patterns or technologies such as Service oriented environments Microservices APIs etc.Knowledge of end to end product development concepts including risk audit controls and legal and complianceUnderstanding of products supported and overall business strategyProvides opportunities for and actively participates in continuous improvement / learning / training activitiesOpenly shares information and data to drive business team and individual resultsFosters an environment where team members have a say and share ideas about how to approach their workRequired Experience:Exec Key Skills Go,Lean,Management Experience,React,Node.js,Operations Management,Project Management,Research & Development,Software Development,Team Management,GraphQL,Leadership Experience Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
