Our client takes care of its community in our 460+ bed hospital and via our network of family health centers, medical practices and other ambulatory care sites, located both on their main campus and throughout New Yorks neighborhoods.
The Senior Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing the Hospital's Perioperative functions. Responsibilities include evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of business processes and internal control systems as well as ensuring Hospital compliance with governance regulations.
Provide oversight, coordination, and organization of clinical and administrative operations of perioperative and endoscopy activities to meet departmental, hospital and health system objectives related to the provision of patient care within the clinical areas and the specialty.
In collaboration with perioperative system leadership and local executive leadership, develop strategic and operational plans for clinical areas assuring a high quality of standards of clinical practice.
Education- Master's degree required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Doctorate preferred.
- At least six years of progressive leadership in an acute perioperative environment, with at least three years of experience as a nurse manager of operations.
- Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of New York. BLS certification required.
