If youre ready to make a real impact in a company thats redefining heavy industry for a cleaner smarter world we want to hear from you.What you will do:As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution you will focus on the design and implementation of power distribution from incoming utility connections to all major systems and equipment for our pilot demo and future commercial operations.Responsibilities include:Design and implement power distribution systems for pilot plants demo facilities and future commercial-scale operationsDevelop single-line diagrams load studies and protective device coordination for evolving plant configurationsSpecify and select transformers switchgear MCCs panels and protective relays that can scale from pilot to full productionEnsure compliance with NEC IEEE NFPA OSHA IEC and local codes across all phases of scale-upCollaborate with process mechanical and controls engineers to integrate electrical systems into modular and scalable plant designsCreate electrical load lists and power distribution drawings for electrical installsSpecify and select wire and conduit sizing for electrical installationsSupport commissioning troubleshooting and reliability improvements during pilot and demo operationsPrepare technical documentation for each scale-up phase including drawings specifications and test proceduresConduct arc flash studies grounding system design and short-circuit analysis for safety and reliability at increasing power levelsManage vendor relationships for electrical equipment procurement and installation across multiple project phasesManage relationship with local utilitiesContribute to energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives including renewable energy integration and load optimization for commercial facilitiesAutonomously lead projects and/or small teams while collaborating with internal teams vendors and outside agencies as neededFamiliarity with D/FMEA and PHA and other failure analysis processesDevelop and maintain documentation including design specifications operating procedures and safety protocolsRead understand and comply with all workplace health and safety policies safe work practices and company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorWhat we need you to bring to the team:Bachelors degree in electrical engineering control systems engineering automation engineering or relatedProfessional Engineering license OR EIT certification (or in progress)8 years of industry experience working on EPC of greenfield or brownfield project execution from a direct electrical engineering application (excluding internships co-ops and other school projects)Advanced experience with instrumentation such as voltage amperage temperature pressure level weight and flowFamiliarity with high voltage and low voltage electrical design and troubleshootingProficiency in ETAP SKM Revit or similar electrical modeling softwareStrong knowledge of power system protection grounding and fault analysis for multi-phase scale-up projectsFamiliarity with hazardous area classifications and safety standardsExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration during rapid scale-upStrong organizational project management and time management skillsExperience and/or interest in mentoring more junior control systems engineersProficiency with or ability to quickly learn Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook OneDrive and SharePointWhat we want you to bring to the team:Masters degree in electrical engineering control systems engineering automation engineering or related10 years of industry experienceworking on EPC of greenfield or brownfield project execution from a direct electrical engineering application.Industrial chemical manufacturing industry experienceCompensation:The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $105000-$140000 and may be more or less depending upon skills experience and education.Benefits For You: 100% paid premiums across all medical dental vision telemedicine short-term disability long-term disability and basic life insurance plansReasonable use PTO$1800 in annual employer HSA contributions(health savings account)Benefits For Your Family: 100% paid premiums across all medical dental vision and telemedicine plans12 weeks of paid parental leaveBenefits For Your Future:401k with up to 5% matching contributions which vest 100% on day oneEligibility for incentive stock optionsIf you need an accommodation during the application or interview process reach out to us atWerehere to help.Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Automobile Sales,Bidding,International Development,In House Legal,Commissioning,Accountancy Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 105000 - 140000
