Senior Engineering Data Automation AnalystContract Length: 12 monthsLocation: Austin Texas (Hybrid)We are seeking an Engineering Data Automation Analyst to support an engineering operations team through data analytics reporting workflow automation and process documentation. The role requires someone who can independently build reporting solutions automate routine processes enhance SharePoint functionality and collaborate with engineers to manage and interpret technical datasets. The ideal candidate can translate engineering concepts into clear dashboards and reports perform data cleanup and automation and create lightweight application components using tools such as SharePoint Power Automate and Python. The position focuses on shaping raw engineering data into usable formats developing reporting frameworks and establishing repeatable processes that support informed decision making.Qualifications/Requirements:Experience as a Data Analyst Reports Developer or Business Systems AnalystAdvanced Excel skills including PivotTables formulas and preferably VBA or macrosExperience with Power BIExperience maintaining and enhancing SharePoint sitesExperience documenting workflows and processesExperience using Python for automation data cleanup or backend accessExperience with Power AutomateExperience with utility engineering datasets such as substation transmission or distribution data is preferredFamiliarity with regulatory environments such as NERC ERCOT FERC or state utility commissions is preferredDuties/Responsibilities:Enhance engineering operations through analytics reporting automation and documentationDevelop and maintain dashboards and performance visuals in Power BIMaintain SharePoint sites including forms workflows and documentation repositoriesBuild Power Automate flows to support engineering processesPerform Python-based data cleanup automation and backend data accessAssist with project coordination and operational support activitiesCreate process documentation SOPs and workflow diagramsEnsure compliance with internal records management and data governance policiesGenius Road LLC is proud to be a Certified Womens Business Enterprise an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
