Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction at The Staff Pad

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Staff Pad has partnered with Corporate Contractors, a well-established construction company in Beloit, Wisconsin, to identify an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the VP of Business Development with take-offs, bid evaluations, subcontractor negotiations, and project cost estimations for commercial construction projects.This is a high-impact role with growth potential in a company known for its integrity, safety-first culture, and commitment to excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled estimator looking to advance their career with a stable and growing company. You’ll work directly with leadership, play a critical role in high-profile projects, and gain exposure to a supportive and fast-paced team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend initial client meetings to assess project scopeReview blueprints, plans, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimatesPerform material take-offs and develop scopes of workIdentify and secure qualified subcontractors and suppliersCreate and send bid invitations; gather and evaluate competitive quotesAssemble final take-off documents and submit for approvalManage estimating software and ensure timely updatesCollaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of proposalsMaintain subcontractor and vendor databasesPromote a positive and professional image to clients, vendors, and colleaguesAdhere to all company safety policies and encourage a culture of safetyQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projectsStrong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction specifications (6+ years preferred)3+ years of hands-on construction experience is idealFamiliarity with Federal, State, and NFPA building codesHigh School Diploma or GED required; Trade education preferredValid driver's license and proof of insuranceProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); ProContractor knowledge is a plusExcellent communication skills—verbal and writtenStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesTravel & Work EnvironmentAbility to travel up to 50% between client and project sitesComfortable working both in office and occasional field environmentsMust be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks as neededPandoLogic.
