Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year A bit about us: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic Pre-Construction team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in some of the most innovative and challenging construction projects. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase of our projects, providing detailed and accurate cost estimates that will drive the success of our construction endeavors. Utilize BlueBeam software to review and analyze project plans and specifications. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure all project requirements are understood and considered in the estimation process. Leverage your base building and interior project experience to provide accurate and competitive estimates. Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness, and provide recommendations for cost optimization. Participate in the negotiation and awarding of contracts. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction technology and techniques to ensure our estimates are current and competitive. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry. Proven experience in pre-construction, including conducting pre-bid sessions, preparing and formatting RFPs. Proficiency in BlueBeam software or equivalent. Significant base building and interior project experience. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex project plans and specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best prices and terms for our projects. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
