We invite passionate individuals to join our team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Job Summary:The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting works with mechanical electrical conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers.Who We Are Looking For: Xylem is seeking mechanically inclined professionals who are passionate about hands-on work and problem-solving. Mostly local travelEducation & Experience Requirements:HS diploma or equivalentAbility to obtain DOT Medical cardClean driving recordAble to pass background check & pre-employment drug screenWater treatment experience preferred2 to 5 years of technical work experience including industrial or commercial process water experienceSkill Requirements:Electrical mechanical HVAC plumbing experience highly preferredWork without direct supervisionTechnically soundExperience with Microsoft Office including smart devicesMust have customer service experienceDemonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting abilitySynthesizes technical information and communicates it clearlyDerives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways**The estimated salary range for this position is $31 to $33/hourly. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location.
