Senior Finance Analyst - Skunk Works - Level 3

Location: Palmdale, CA

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of ADP Program Finance activities. This position supports a multitude of program finance functions; including the ability to act independently in establishing/managing Performance Measurement Baselines, analysis and reconciliation of actual costs, development of Estimate at Complete (EAC), conducting Earned Value analysis and determination of appropriate Earned Value techniques, and associated variance analysis using various Enterprise toolsets. The candidate will also perform multiple financial cost analyses including cost allocation, controlling costs, and preparation of reports and contractual deliverables, assisting with the development and documentation of corrective action plans, and preparing analysis for presentation to various levels of leadership.

You are a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for transforming financial data into meaningful business insights. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can leverage your expertise in program finance, cost analysis, forecasting, and Earned Value Management (EVM) to support complex aerospace and defense programs. You are comfortable working independently to establish financial baselines, develop Estimates at Complete (EACs), evaluate program performance, and identify opportunities to improve cost and schedule execution. You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams while communicating financial information clearly to leadership and key stakeholders. Your ability to analyze complex financial data, solve problems proactively, and develop actionable recommendations enables you to support sound business decisions and successful program execution. Driven by accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement, you are committed to delivering high-quality financial analysis that contributes to the success of Skunk Works' most innovative programs.

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business. Familiarity with Systems, Applications, Products Software (SAP). Familiarity with Hyperion/Accounting Data Analysis and Reporting (ADAR). Experience in developing program budgets and Estimates at Completion. Data analysis through use of self-developed queries. Familiarity with cost systems similar to Deltek Cobra. High degree of interpersonal skills required in interfacing with Senior Leadership, Control Account Managers, Program Management leads, and other Program Finance personnel across multiple sites. Experience in taking raw data and presenting it in written/oral form for concise management reports. Experience with formal CPR/IPMR Reporting. Ability to lead and mentor less senior analysts. Experience in playing a key role within a diverse team made of many different disciplines. DoD Secret clearance. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Products with emphasis on Excel.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This employee is required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
