Senior Full Stack React/Node/AWS Developer #995Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a TSA Public Trust.This is a hybrid position based in Springfield Virginia.We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design build and optimize custom software solutions in AWS. This role spans the full stackfrom intuitive React user interfaces to scalable backend services and cloud-native infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver secure resilient and high-performing solutions.What Youll Be Doing:Develop scalable high-quality web applications using React (TypeScript)Build robust backend APIs and microservices with (TypeScript) or PythonDesign and implement secure and efficient AWS architectures using services such as EC2 Lambda Aurora PostgreSQL S3 API Gateway EventBridge and SQSCreate and manage Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation CDK or TerraformImplement and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks in GitLabUse AWS CLI and SAM CLI for deployment troubleshooting and environment managementOptimize applications for performance scalability availability and cost efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutionsRequired Education Experience and Skills:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 7 years of full stack development experience with coding in languages including but not limited to C C C# Java JavaScript or Python OR 9 years of full stack development experience (experience in lieu of degree) in languages including but not limited to C C C# Java JavaScript or Python.Strong proficiency in React and TypeScriptBackend development experience with or PythonHands-on experience with core AWS services and architectural patternsExperience with PostgreSQL and relational database designGitLab experience for CI/CD and version controlKnowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS/EKSSolid understanding of security best practices and compliance considerationsProficiency with AWS CLI and SAM CLIExperience with automated testing and Agile development methodologiesMust have the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
