That is our goal for Boltline by Stoke Space our commercial software platform that helps advanced hardware manufacturing teams integrate track iterate build and test efficiently.As a Sr. Full-Stack Software Development Engineer on the Boltline by Stoke Space team you will design build and maintain scalable end-to-end featuresfrom intuitive front-end interfaces to reliable performant backend systems. Youll collaborate closely with designers product managers and hardware teams to create tools that accelerate innovation in advanced hardware development. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of ownership technical excellence and curiositybalancing fast execution with thoughtful engineering.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop end-to-end features across the full stack using React TypeScript GraphQL and PostgresArchitect and optimize backend data models APIs and services for performance reliability and maintainabilityBuild and refine user interfaces that make complex hardware manufacturing workflows simple and intuitiveImplement and maintain a strong automated testing culture with comprehensive unit integration and end-to-end coverageLead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions across the Boltline platformPartner with product and hardware teams to translate user needs into scalable elegant software solutionsContribute to operational excellence by improving CI/CD pipelines observability and on-call reliabilityMentor and guide mid- through internship-level engineers through code reviews pairing and design collaborationQualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field / experience5 years of professional software development experience building production web applicationsDeep expertise in full stack TypeScriptProficiency with some combination of React GraphQL Typescript and Postgres.Experience designing and maintaining backend services ( or similar frameworks)Strong understanding of software testing principles and experience with modern testing frameworksProven ability to own features from concept through deployment and iterationPrior on-call/incident response participationExcellent collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teamsComfort working in a fast-paced evolving environment with a focus on delivering impactPreferred QualificationsExperience with Apollo (Client/Server) Hasura or similarFamiliarity with Docker Kubernetes/ECS and AWS infrastructureFamiliarity with event-driven architectures using Temporal Kafka or similarHands-on experience improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions CircleCI or similar)Exposure to manufacturing aerospace or complex physical systemsInterest in aerospace/manufacturing workflowsBenefitsEquity We know that our employees are the reason we succeed.
