We're hiring a SENIOR Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our on-site shop in Ottsville, supporting "Yellow Iron" used on major infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, tunnels, and water treatment facilities that communities rely on every day.

We're hiring a SENIOR Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our on-site shop in Ottsville, supporting "Yellow Iron" used on major infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, tunnels, and water treatment facilities that communities rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small mechanic team.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and construction equipment.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and preventive maintenance.
- Operate and maintain yard and field equipment safely.
What You'll Work On:
Excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes ("Yellow Iron")
Diesel trucks and fleet vehicles
Yard support equipment
Welding and fabrication repairs
REQUIRED - Please Do Not Apply Without: - 10+ years of heavy construction equipment experience with proven "Yellow Iron" troubleshooting ability
- Supervisory or team lead experience.
- Strong diesel engine experience. Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and fabrication skills.
- Valid Driver's License AND a Class A or B CDL (MUST have at least a Class B; able to obtain a Class A, if needed)
- PA State Inspection License (Full Inspector - NOT Class 7) OR ability to obtain quickly
- DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Crane maintenance experience; Welding & fabrication skills; NCCCO Crane License
- Competitive wages ($85 - $95k / year and up (roughly $41 to $46+/hour), health/dental/life insurance, 401(k) match. Paid vacation, holidays, and bonus eligibility.
