We are looking for growth-motivated and self-starting individuals who value efficiency, reliability, and family.The Senior HVAC Service Technician will play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our clients' HVAC systems, with a strong focus on chiller and boiler equipment. This role is perfect for a seasoned technician with a talent for troubleshooting and solving complex system issues. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, dedicated to delivering superior service, and skilled in managing a wide range of HVAC equipment to ensure our clients' comfort and satisfaction.Pay$35+ hourly Based on skills & experience.Your Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide hand and power tools as listed for Service Technician 4.Layout, design and install low voltage/ high voltage wiring.Compile a complete materials list from blueprints.Verify and coordinate HVAC building code compliance.Communicate clearly, the ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers. Train, instruct and oversee other team members.Present training seminars and classes for in-house meetings.Troubleshooting equipment; make repair and replace decisions.Acquire commercial and residential planned maintenance agreements.Calculate equipment efficiency and operating costs.Writing work order for projects sold.Responsible for follow-up process on each work order.Coordinate and remain current on all local utility programs.Converse with facilities engineers, building and homeowners, and general contractorsMaintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.Run after hours calls as required.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques; including chillers, boilers, steam systems.Experience making repair and replace decisions.Advanced customer service skills.Acquire VRF installation & troubleshooting certification within 1 year of employment as Service Technician 5Must be able to teach Service Tech 3 & 4 on VRF installation & troubleshooting within 2 years of employment as Service Tech 5.Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices.Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
