Senior Industrial Security COMSEC CustodianCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Security COMSEC Custodian to join the team in Hazelwood MO. This individual will perform Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) duties including distribution inventory and destruction of keys and equipment in accordance with customer regulations and requirements.Position Responsibilities:Oversee KMI account responsibilitiesConduct secure equipment (e.g. secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories inspections and other Communications Security (COMSEC) related support and oversight functionsPerform installation of secure telephone equipment (STE) and coordinate to deliver encryption device(s) and keying material to select Information Technology (IT) specialist maintaining classified networksMaintain records and accountability of COMSEC materials site wideEnsure COMSEC materials are properly received hand-receipted and transferredAcquire and issue materials to program personnelConduct inventories per agency policy and report any discrepancy to government customerCourier classified information and authors receipt for classified materialsEnforce compliance with United States Government (USG) COMSEC standards by team members by providing security education and training on operating proceduresEnsure Automated Information Systems Security requirements related to COMSEC duties are in complianceTrain personnel in COMSEC procedures and the use of related equipmentWork in an open production environment using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and requiring the use of basic tools and observing production facility requirementsBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years5 years of experience with COMSEC accountability software3 years of experience working in government industry and/or DoD NSA or SCI COMSEC account management3 years Industrial Security experienceCurrent Communication Security (COMSEC) Training CertificateKey Management Infrastructure (KMI) Schoolhouse training completion certificatePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or equivalent work or military experienceSecurity Certification3 years of experience communicating with internal and external customers3 years of experience as a primary COMSEC CustodianExperience troubleshooting COMSEC equipmentDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
