Senior Industrial Security SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Richardson TX. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring and protecting people property and information. Incumbents within this group perform such tasks as developing and implementing organizational programs and processes that assess security risks protecting company assets and employees and ensuring compliance with applicable government and company regulations.If youre passionate about security and ready to contribute to groundbreaking initiatives in the aerospace industry we want you to be part of our mission!Position Responsibilities:Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirementsIdentifies deficiencies develops and implements corrective actionCommunicates results to security management and customersConducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirementsCommunicates results to security management and customersConducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (including inventory distribution and destruction) in compliance with government regulations/requirementsProtects government intellectual third party and company information from unauthorized disclosuresDevelops implements and administers an Operational Security program security education procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programsLeads and performs Personnel Security team and/or processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirementsEstablishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate refresh and motivate personnel to protect people property and informationPerforms Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirementsPerforms Sub-Contractor Management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirementsCommunicates results to security management and customersParticipates as requested on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT)BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years10 years of experience in Industrial SecurityExperience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP SAP and/or SCIExperience working with multiple functional organizations from multiple sitesExperience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higherExperience in personnel security administration physical security communications security and/or other programmatic security-related fieldDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
