This senior role is crucial for driving technological innovation ensuring operational excellence and aligning infrastructure strategies with the Firms goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic plans for Azure infrastructure focusing on scalability reliability and cost-effectivenessFostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvementOversee large-scale projects including cloud migrations technology refreshes and infrastructure optimizationsCollaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure initiatives with business objectivesEstablish and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plansDrive automation and standardization efforts across the infrastructure landscapeManage vendor relationships for infrastructure servicesEnsure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements in cloud environmentsOther duties as assigned to fully meet with requirements of this positionExperience & Qualifications5-10 years experience in IT infrastructure operations with a strong recent focus on Microsoft AzureAdvanced Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)Experience in legal or professional services sector is a plusDeep expertise in Azure IaaS PaaS and SaaS offerings including advanced configurations and optimizationsProficiency in cloud security best practices including implementation of Zero Trust architecturesBackground in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform ARM templates or Azure BicepKnowledge of Azure cloud networking conceptsExcellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAdaptability and resilience in a fast-paced evolving technological landscapeProvisioning automation experienceRelevant industry certifications (e.g. ITIL CISSP) are highly desirableSalaryChicago Only DOE: $126640 - $163000Washington DC DOE: $131200 - $168925Dentons US LLP offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical dental vision 401k profit sharing short-term/long-term disability life insurance tuition reimbursement paid time off paid holidays and discretionary bonuses.
