Length of Position: Direct HireDegree Required: Bachelors degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited programRequirements:Eight (8) years of experience as an interior designer/architect in a client services firmLeads development of interior design concepts for multiple projects of varying complexity and typology, concurrently and successfullyListens to, analyzes, and develops a thorough understanding of client criteria and synthesizes them into interior design solutionsPrepares, reviews and conducts client-facing presentationsGenerates schedule for time budgeted to complete project tasksMakes independent decisions on design problems and methods from a sound knowledge baseApplies sound and diversified knowledge of design principles and practicesReviews designs/drawings/documents to ensure adherence to industry codes and regulations and firm standardsGenerates project documents including plans, sections, details, etc. in coordination of a complete construction document packageResponsible for the conceptual direction of FF&E and selects key piecesProvides design and technical detailing guidance to other staff membersDirects the work of project team members on projectsProvides performance feedback to team members and to their performance managersManages the performance and professional development of performance advisees, as assignedNCIDQ certification or Registered ArchitectSustainable Building Materials certifiedLEED GAWELL certifiedTechnical / Software skills:Advanced skills with: Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, EnscapeDesigner Pages for furniture specificationsProficiency with Deltek VisionProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
