Senior IT Project Manager Business Analyst at City of New York

Hours: Full-time 35 HoursWork Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue LIC NY 11101 The NYC Department of Design and Construction Technology and Innovation Division seeks a Senior IT Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead multiple enterprise level software development projects. The selected candidate will be critical resource for the development and ongoing evolution of key Technology & Innovation enterprise level initiatives. The selected candidate will drive all aspects of the software development lifecycle from initiation to closeout and will manage one or more project teams during technical design and implementation. S/he will also be responsible for business analysis and requirements gathering collaborating with subject matter experts and business stakeholders. Duties also include coordinating internal resources and vendors for the execution of projects; ensuring that all projects are delivered on time within scope and budget; assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility as well as resource availability and allocation. The selected candidate will develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; manage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques; and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science engineering human computer interaction interactive media digital and graphics design data visualization communication or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology process methodology and/or domain; or2. An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science engineering human computer interaction interactive media digital and graphics design data visualization communication or a related field and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology process methodology and/or domain; or3. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology process methodology and/or domain; or4.
