We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.ABOUT THE ROLE:Our client s is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex high-visibility initiatives across our health this role youll independently manage the planning execution and delivery of IT projects supporting hospitals clinics service lines andEpic implementations upgrades and optimization efforts.You will partner closely with cross-functional IT teams and operational stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time within scope and aligned with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include defining project scope and requirements developing and maintaining standard project artifacts managing risks and issues driving stakeholder communication and ensuring adherence to PMO and PMBOK best practices.The Senior IT Project Manager will oversee multiple simultaneous initiatives support portfolio and budget planning contribute to PMO process improvements and mentor junior project managers. Exceptional organization communication and collaboration skills are essential.*Please note this is a contract position through Trace3*QUALIFICATIONS & INTERESTS:Bachelors degree required and 10 experience in project management7 years of experience with EHR systems5 years of experience with Epic Application Modules5 years of experience directly working within a PMO5 years of experience with software systems implementation lifecycle5 experience in Waterfall project methodology Agile methodology experience is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiative prioritize work manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environmentAbility to exercise sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing the mitigating risks through risk planning.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude with a deep commitment to customer satisfactionPMP Certification is requiredCSM Certification is a plusActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including location experience skill set performance licensure and certification and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
